Angel Reese has made a huge name for herself thanks to her superb quality on the basketball court, which is why she will soon enter a second season with the Chicago Sky in the WNBA.
Sporting attention also brings plenty of off-court attention, and the fact she has her own podcast means that fans get an unprecedented level of access into Reese‘s personal life.
On April 1, Reese tweeted ‘i miss my man’, which many fans immediately realized must be an April Fools joke given the date.
Nonetheless, it didn’t stop lots of comments coming in from fans who wondered if Reese was hinting that she is in a relationship that has not been made official yet.
“oh but wait?????” a fan wrote.
“??????” a fan added. “Oh wow,” another said.
“Care to give us fans a bit of a hint?” asked another. “Who dat,” another comment read.
In all likelihood, Reese probably felt like playing a trick on her followers and the media as there has been so much desperation to see if she is in a relationship with anyone.
Angel Reese focuses on LSU
Most of Reese‘s recent attention has been on the LSU Tigers and the fortunes of her old college team.
LSU are still chasing the high Reese gave them in 2023 when she led her team to the NCAA title against Caitlin Clark‘s Iowa Hawkeyes, but have now fallen short in 2024 and 2025 in the Elite Eight stage.
As some eyes turn to Kim Mulkey to assess whether the 62-year-old is the right figurehead at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center, the 22-year-old Chicago Sky star found issue elsewhere.
“These refs man smh,” Reese posted to X.com, formerly Twitter, meaning she’s now got problems with the officials in the WNBA, NCAA and Unrivaled League as she continues to put pressure on the sport.
