Since arriving in the WNBA and joining the Chicago Sky after being selected seventh overall in the 2024 draft, Angel Reese has been turning heads.
Her unmistakable essence has quickly made her one of the most recognizable figures in the sport, so much so that it has opened new doors for business and experiences off the court. And on the night of Wednesday, October 15, she experienced one of them.
Angel receives support from a Fever star
Angel recently made her debut as the first professional athlete to walk in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. She wore two sets of lace lingerie in shades of pink. One of them was accompanied by a voluminous pink tulle shawl adorned with flowers, while the other was accompanied by a baby doll T-shirt and the brand’s signature wings.
Photos and videos of her walk down the runway quickly flooded the internet and stole everyone’s attention, even catching the eye of a player from the rival Chicago Sky team.
Sydney Colson had her first season with the Indiana Fever, but a torn left anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in early August forced her to sit out the rest of the year.
Of course, this didn’t dampen her spirits, and she cheered on her team from the bench like any other fan. Now, she did so with a rival. On her official X account (formerly Twitter), Syd sent her support to Angel: “And looked tf goodt doing iiittt @Reese10Angel!!!” she wrote.
Fans agreed with her and quickly let her know in the comments: “TELL EM’ SYD,” said one of them, “Yes she did,” said another user, “absolutely stunning!!!!” confirmed a third, “Model Barbie,” wrote another follower.
As for Reese, this is not the first time -and probably not the last- that she has made her mark in the fashion world. Recently, the two-time All-Star Game player launched her footwear brand “the Angel Reese 1” with Reebok and collaborated with “Juicy Couture.”
She also attended the Met Gala on May 5th, where she also turned heads. She wore a black two-piece suit designed by Thom Browne, featuring a long-sleeved black top, inspired by suit jackets and a button-down tie, and a high-waisted corset-style skirt with a slight train. Her pear-shaped earrings, bracelet, and rings totaled over 107 carats of diamonds!
Meanwhile, the 23-year-old forward closed out her second year as the league’s leading rebounder, averaging 14.7 points, 12.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. Now, we will have to wait until May to see her on the court when the 2026 season begins, but in the meantime, there is no doubt that we will see her display her talent in other areas.
