The passing of these broadcasting legends in such a short period has sent shockwaves through the Kansas City sports community. First came the death of Greg Sharpe on February 14. Known as the “Voice of the Huskers,” Sharpe lost his battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 61.
From 1996 to 2002, he played a significant role in Kansas City sports, leaving behind a legacy of passion and dedication. The Chiefs even honored him on October 8, 2024, acknowledging his contributions to the team and the community.

And then, the passing of Bob Davis brought even more sorrow.
