Andres Guardado, one of the best players to have played for the Mexican national soccer team, is set to help his former national team teammate Rafa Marquez in the run-up to the 2030 World CupGuardado is currently the head coach of the youth teams at Real Betis in Spain, preparing professionally so that in the future the five-time World Cup player will be ready to coach the Mexican national team or accompany whoever is in charge in the coming years.

The future of Andres Guardado in Mexican soccer could take a new direction in the coming years. The historic midfielder of the Mexican national team is strongly emerging as one of the promises to join the coaching staff that will be led by Rafa Marquez, in a project that is already aiming at the 2030 World Cup and is beginning to take shape in Mexico.

Although there is still no official announcement from the Mexican Football Federation, Guardado’s name has begun to gain momentum within the offices of the Mexican national team, as part of a new generation of leaders who would seek to give identity and continuity to the Mexican team. Within this vision, the formation of a coaching staff is key, and this is where Andres Guardado’s name appears as a possible strategic ally of Rafa Marquez.

The Mexican Football Federation is already planning the process for the Mexican national team for the 2030 World Cup.

The FMF has already begun to analyze the integration of the coaching staff for the next World Cup cycle, where the historic Mexican national team midfielder Andres Guardado would be one of the main names to head the list of the coaching staff that could accompany Rafa Marquez on the road to the 2030 World Cup

Once the 2026 World Cup co-hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada is over, Javier Aguirre, the current coach of the Mexican national team, will leave the position to be taken over by former Barcelona defender Rafa Marquez, who is currently the assistant to El Vasco.

According to several media outlets specialising in the Mexican national team, the planning is said to include figures with international experience and knowledge of the Tricolor with the aim of giving continuity to the long-term sporting project and Andres Guardado would be an important man in the whole World Cup process in 2030.
