Brazil has a lot of things to sort out in the near future, starting with the coach, although all signs point to Carlo Ancelotti. The Real Madrid coach,as MARCA reported, already has an agreement to coach the Selecao.

Ancelotti’s Brazil will, if confirmed, have a different element at the 2026 World Cup: they will change the traditional blue of their second kit – in the 1950 World Cup they wore white – for red and black.

A kit revealed by ‘Footy Headlines’ which, in principle, will not be made public until March next year. “The new kit will be predominantly red in a more faded tone, with black stripes that look more like smudges. The colours extend to the shorts in the same format, giving continuity, as if it were a single piece,” says ‘Globo Esporte’.

There is another important change in the ‘Selecao’s’ second kit. The traditional ‘Nike’ logo will be replaced by the silhouette of Michael Jordan

This is not the first time that the figure of the former Chicago Bulls player, an icon of the American brand, has appeared on a soccer team’s jersey. Paris Saint-Germain has already used it. In fact, it even has a line of sportswear with the silhouette of Jordan.Brazil, although few remember it, already wore red on two occasions throughout its history: it was in the Copa America in 1917 and 1936.
