The video in question was shared by Fastbreak Hoops on X and showed college basketball star Hailey Van Lith‘s father reacting with unfiltered joy after she drained a three-pointer.
The clip, which quickly went viral, captured him running down the stairs, high-fiving a friend, and soaking in the moment. Ohanian reshared it with a cheeky caption that resonated with parents everywhere: “Yall are gonna be SO sick of me if either of my girls play sports….”
It was the kind of lighthearted post that fans of the Williams-Ohanian family have come to expect. Long before his daughters ever picked up a ball or a club, Ohanian had imagined what it might be like to see them embrace competition.
