The Six Kings Slam, the tournament that showers millions on the best tennis players on the planet, returns this year after its debut in 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Between October 15 and 18, the ANB Arena in the Saudi capital will once again host a tournament that does not count towards the ATP ranking but distributes the highest prizes in the history of the sport.

In fact, Jannik Sinner pocketed six million dollars (5.15 million euros) after winning the final – a figure higher than any Grand Slam – with a comeback included, against Carlos Alcaraz in the inaugural edition, which also included Novak Djokovic, Rafa Nadal, Holger Rune and Daniil Medvedev.

Sinner, Carlos and ‘Nole’ are repeating this year and are joined by Alexander Zverev, Taylor Fritz and Jack Draper. Each of them is guaranteed $1.5 million (1.29 million euros) just for participating.

The tournament, which is part of Saudi Arabia’s strategy to project an image of modernity and openness through sport, was the scene of the last match between Nadal and Djokovic, who met in the match for third place with the Serbian winning in two sets.

If the 2024 format is repeated, there will be two players who will go directly to the semifinals. In the first edition it was Rafa and Novak and this year it could well be Alcaraz and Sinner although the organization has not yet specified.
