AJ Brown gives a surprising hint about his future and hints at which team he wants to go to if he leaves the Eagles

AJ Brown has dropped a potentially revealing hint about the wide receiver’s future, amid a season of frustration that saw the Philadelphia Eagles man visibly upset with the team’s offensive approach and targets.

The wideout’s discontent persisted even after Kevin Patullo was relieved of his duties as offensive coordinator, leaving Brown with mixed emotions about his production, particularly in crucial playoff moments.

Philadelphia’s campaign ended in the first round with a loss to the San Francisco 49ers, as Brown and head coach Nick Sirianni were caught in a heated sideline exchange, requiring intervention from teammates to diffuse the tension.

Social media is now buzzing after Brown shared a video wearing a New York Giants T-shirt on his Instagram Story, sparking speculation that he may desire a trade to his division rival, potentially reshaping the NFC East landscape.

He also recently followed rising Giants talents Jaxson Dart and Malik Nabers on Instagram, signaling possible chemistry with the team alongside standout running back Cam Skattebo, which could make the offense formidable in upcoming seasons.

From a statistical standpoint, Brown still delivered, compiling 78 receptions for 1,003 yards and seven touchdowns, marking his fourth straight 1,000-yard season, a level of consistency that will attract serious trade interest from other franchises.

And if available, Buffalo Bills could be among the first to pursue him, as the Bills have long sought a dominant boundary receiver to complement Josh Allen. Khalil Shakir led the team with just 719 receiving yards in 2025, highlighting the need for a top-tier target.

New England Patriots may also be in the mix, with a strong defensive base and structured quarterback play, yet lacking explosive perimeter talent. Reports suggest the Patriots are monitoring Brown closely, as they possess both salary flexibility and draft assets to make a deal feasible.

Eagles recruit new coach from Josh Allen’s Buffalo Bills

Philadelphia has hired Buffalo Bills nickelback coach Mike Pellegrino as their defensive backs coach, part of a sweeping staff overhaul following the NFC Wild Card loss to San Francisco, signaling a commitment to improving both sides of the ball.

The 32-year-old Pellegrino spent a decade with the New England Patriots, including six years as cornerbacks coach, contributing to Super Bowl LI and Super Bowl LII titles, while mentoring standout backs such as Christian Gonzalez, J.C. Jackson, and Stephon Gilmore.

“The #Eagles are set to hire #Bills nickels coach Mike Pellegrino as a defensive backs coach, sources tell @CBSSports,” Matt Zenitz reported on X.com, formerly Twitter.

In 2025, he joined Sean McDermott‘s staff in Buffalo, helping engineer one of the NFL‘s most dominant secondaries, and his hiring reflects the Eagles‘ strategic push to add experience and technical knowledge to a struggling unit.

The addition comes amid broader Philadelphia changes, including the firing of Kevin Patullo and the promotion of Sean Mannion as offensive coordinator, along with Minnesota Vikings assistant Chris Kuper taking over as offensive line coach.

With Pellegrino now on board, the Eagles aim to reshape their defensive identity, while positioning the team to maximize potential acquisitions such as AJ Brown, who could thrive in a system blending new offensive schemes with a strengthened secondary.
