Adin Ross calls out Lebron James after Drake diss

Adin Ross, the viral Kick streamer with a long history of ties to Bronny James, recently unleashed a scathing critique of NBA icon LeBron James.

The controversy erupted after LeBron was recently spotted in France dancing to Kendrick Lamar‘s track “Not Like Us”, a song widely interpreted as a diss aimed at Drake.

The moment left Ross baffled, prompting him to accuse the four-time NBA champion of disloyalty.

Ross addressed the incident during his Livestream on Tuesday, asking his audience:

“You know what’s crazy about this, chat? You know, as I love LeBron my whole life, it’s like, you just see how much of a piece of s**t human he is, bro. Like, guys, imagine your best friend for like 15 years, …and you’re rapping to a song about him being a pedophile.”

His statements refer to the 15-year friendship between Drake and Lebron.

“How can you respect someone that has no loyalty with someone he has known for 15 years?” Ross added.

Ross said he once stood by LeBron as a fan and role model, but seeing him bop along to Lamar‘s diss, part of a feud that has defined hiphop in recent months, felt like a betrayal.

Although LeBron hasn’t publicly reacted to Ross‘s attack, the streamer framed his own comments as an act of allegiance to Drake, emphasizing personal loyalty above celebrity camaraderie.

This moment occurred amid an ongoing high-profile clash between Drake and Kendrick Lamar.

Last year, the rappers traded major diss tracks, including Lamar‘s controversial “Not Like Us”, which accused Drake of pedophilia.

Drake responded through his own releases and legal action, maintaining that Lamar‘s accusations were false and defamatory.

Against this backdrop, LeBron‘s casual display of enjoyment of Lamar‘s song, complete with his wife, threw fuel on the fire, especially in the court of public opinion where alliances are scrutinized.

The reason Ross reacted so strongly

Ross isn’t just any streamer-he’s known for his close connections to Bronny James, LeBron‘s son.

He rose to fast fame playing NBA 2K with Bronny and built a weekly audience on Twitch and now Kick, with his over-the-top personality. His loyalties aren’t just digital; they’re personal.

Drake, likewise, has historical ties with the James family stemming from Toronto days and celebrity circle links.

When Drake unfollowed LeBron on Instagram last October, Ross even sold a watch he said matched LeBron‘s, signaling a shift in allegiance.

So when LeBron danced along to a diss track targeting Drake, Ross saw it as a betrayal on two fronts: both personal and public.

For Ross, the fact that LeBron would embrace music critical of Drake struck him as crossing an unspoken line of respect, one he felt entitled to defend due to his own past performance of loyalty and friendship.
