As the Pittsburgh Steelers prepare for the 2025 NFL season, veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers has highlighted the importance of the team’s younger players stepping up.

In a recent appearance on Cam Heyward’sNot Just Football podcast, Rodgers discussed the potential of several third and fourth year players. He stressed on their growth and how it could be pivotal for the team’s success this season.

Rodgers identifies key players for development

Rodgers pointed out several young talents who he believes have the potential to make significant contributions. He mentioned running back Jaylen Warren, tight ends Pat Freiermuth and Darnell Washington, and offensive lineman Broderick Jones.

The ex-Packer labeled this players as thos who could play crucial roles if they tap into their full potential. Rodgers emphasized that the offense’s success hinges on these players embracing leadership and elevating their game.

Rodgers noted that true leadership doesn’t always require a change in personality but involves a commitment to the team’s success.

He believes that as these young players mature and take on more responsibility, the offense will become more dynamic and effective. By harnessing their abilities and stepping into leadership roles, they can help propel the Steelers to new heights this season.
