As is now customary in the National Football League (NFL), a new story has emerged featuring Aaron Rodgers as the main character. The former New York Jets quarterback (who joins the Steelers this season) explained the strange reason why he refrains from using wired headphones and avoids Bluetooth-enabled ones.

In a conversation with Zach Wilson in 2023, Rodgers said that EMF emissions from Bluetooth devices and AirPods are harmful to the brain. “They were making fun of you for the headphones you were wearing,” Wilson told Rodgers. “You mean the ones that protect my brain from harmful electromagnetic emissions?, Rodgers responded.
