Johnson recognizes that the team lacks the depth that other elite teams in the league have, so the most important thing for Dallas is to stay healthy, especially when looking at the historically difficult stretch the team faces in the second half of the season. “They have very high salaries. Because of that, their 53-man roster may not have as much talent at the base as some of these other teams,” Johnson said.
In addition, they have a very difficult run towards the end of the season. So, if they’re not 100% when they play against the best teams, in the second half of the end of the season, it will be a problem. That’s why staying healthy is the main key.
