The controversy that occurred in the stands during the game between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Miami Marlins continues to make headlines, as social networks are still debating the reprehensible action of a woman who “stole” the ball from a child, after the father caught it after a home run by Harrison Bader.

The video of the moment when the woman goes and takes the ball from the child went viral on social networks and earned the hatred of practically everyone. So much so that to date, material is still being spread about that night and the woman even earned the nickname “Phillies Karen”, generating memes and mockery.

There was no regret

After taking the ball from an innocent child, one would have thought that the woman might have regretted it and had some pity for the little one, however, the latest image shared on X says otherwise.

The photo shared on social media shows the woman with the ball in her bag and a smile from ear to ear, so having caused sadness to a child did not affect her at all and she again earned the hatred of all fans.

Happy ending for the child

The situation went so viral that the Marlins quickly sought to benefit the boy who was left without the ball. The young fan received a bag full of Marlins merchandise, including signed baseballs, caps and jerseys, as well as the promise of VIP tickets to a future game.

It was a happy ending for the boy and a story that left a villain being repudiated on social networks and who apparently has shown no signs of remorse
