Tua Tagovailoa’s career has gone from good to worse, a clear decline, and it seems the clock may be running out for the Miami Dolphins quarterback. The Alabama product led the NFL in passing yards in 2024, but his 2024 season was completely disappointing.

Before the start of the 2024 campaign, following his great 2023, he signed a contract extension through 2028 worth $212.4 million over four years, with $167 million guaranteed. However, it seems that this may have been a mistake, though at the time there was no other option but to offer a new deal to the Alabama product.

Last year, he suffered a concussion in Week 2 against the Buffalo Bills, which created instability in the team. Tua missed six games, and this is not the first time it has happened. Because of this, confidence in the quarterback is waning, and he has started 2025 in terrible form.

Rapper calls for Shedeur Sanders to join the Miami Dolphins

After a disastrous 2024, fans were hoping for a better version of Tua Tagovailoa, but his performance in Week 1 against the Indianapolis Colts was terrible. The quarterback threw for 114 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions, with a quarterback rating of only 2.7-the worst of his career.

Following this, fans have started to lose patience, and one of them is rapper Luther Roderick Campbell, who is a devoted Miami Dolphins fan. On his X account, he posted a message that went viral, asking Miami management to make a trade for Shedeur Sanders of the Cleveland Browns.

This is a fantasy; it’s simply the desperation of Miami Dolphins fans. Tua Tagovailoa is under contract, and the franchise could become dysfunctional again. As for Shedeur Sanders, he is completely sidelined with the Cleveland Browns; reports indicate that Bailey Zappe from the practice squad is being considered more than him.
