Noah Scurry, a Pennsylvania high school basketball star, died at the age of 17 after being shot just steps from his home in Philadelphia.
The Philadelphia Police Department reported that the shooting, “with dozens of shots fired”, in which Scurry was killed occurred when the young prospect was on his way to Samuel Fels High School with his mother.

Noah Scurry, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
“I heard gunshots, multiple, and then just the screams of the mother… I can still hear the mother crying seeing her little one lying on the ground,” one of the witnesses to the shooting told NBC.
Authorities, who have yet to make any arrests or find the murder weapon, do not know the cause of the shooting.
Police did recover a Jeep they believe was used in the fatal shooting.
Noah Scurry, who was the star and captain of Samuel Fels H.S. and one of its best students, had numerous offers to enroll in NCAA colleges.
