The 2025 3M Open heads to TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota, from Thursday, July 24 through Sunday, July 27. As one of the final regular-season PGA Tour events before the FedExCup Playoffs, this par71 Arnold Palmer-designed course (7,431 yards) offers a high-stakes opportunity for players to secure their playoff status while showcasing birdie-friendly scoring on its scenic lakeside fairways.

Venue: TPC Twin Cities, Blaine, Minnesota

TPC Twin Cities, set in suburban Minneapolis, has been home to the 3M Open since its PGA Tour debut in 2019. The course combines length, water hazards on 15 of 18 holes, and generous greens, making it a prime test for distance and accuracy. Its elevation gives it a unique lakeside character, and high temperatures in July can produce low scoring conditions.

Tournament Dates & Schedule

The 3M Open kicks off with Round 1 on Thursday, July 24, followed by Rounds 2, 3, and the final round concluding Sunday, July 27. As a full-field event, the traditional 36-hole cut will apply after Friday’s play, narrowing the field to the low 65 and ties.

How to Watch Live

TV coverage begins Thursday and Friday each day from 4:00 to 7:00 PM ET on Golf Channel, moving to weekend coverage that runs from 1:00 to 3:00 PM ET on Golf Channel and 3:00 to 6:00 PM ET on CBS. Streaming is available through PGA Tour Live on ESPN+, with Paramount+ carrying CBS’s telecasts and NBC Sports App/website simulcasting Golf Channel’s coverage. This multi-platform access ensures fans can follow every shot, early or late.

Tee Times & Featured Pairings

Opening-round tee times begin early, with the first group off at 7:45 AM ET on Thursday. A notable marquee pairing includes Taylor Pendrith, Rickie Fowler, and Tony Finau, teeing off at 8:29 AM. Afternoon featured groups include Chris Gotterup, Wyndham Clark, and Adam Scott, along with defending champion Jhonattan Vegas, Sam Burns, and Haotong Li around 12:54 PM.

As the penultimate event before the FedExCup Playoffs, the 3M Open is a make-or-break week for many PGA Tour players. TPC Twin Cities’ combination of length, water challenges, and July heat make strategizing key. Additionally, with several major names skipping the British Open jaunt, new contenders have the spotlight-creating potential for breakout performances.
