One of the most attractive aspects of this phase is the total balance between leagues. Four Liga MX teams and four MLS teams advanced, guaranteeing head-to-head clashes between the two competitions.
On the Mexican side, Cruz Azul, the current champion of the tournament, stands out along with Club America, Tigres UANL and Deportivo Toluca, clubs with experience and recent prominence.

The semi-finals will then be played between April 28-30 for the first leg and May 5-7 for the second leg, while the final will be played as a single match on May 30.
