Coco Gauff is making headlines both on and off the court.

As she works to reshape her professional journey, the 21-year-old tennis star has also deepened her commitment to giving back.

Coco Gauff is betting on herself

On April 9, Gauff announced a $50,000 donation to Delray Beach Parks & Recreation, made in partnership with General Mills as part of her ongoing collaboration with Wheaties.

The initiative was revealed via Wheaties’ Instagram account, where Gauff shared her personal connection to the cause.

“Hi guys, it’s Coco, and I am first, super honored again to be on the Wheaties box, ‘Breakfast for champions’ following Billie Jean King,” she said.

“And I’m proud to say that General Mills and I are donating $50,000 to Delray Beach Parks & Recreation. One of the reasons why this is an important cause for me is because I grew up playing on public tennis courts right here in Delray.”

Gauff’s ties to Delray Beach, Florida, run deep. It’s where her tennis journey began, training on the courts at Pompey Park under the guidance of her father.

The park is also a symbol of her family legacy, its baseball fields are named after her grandfather, Eddie ‘Red’ Odom, a local civil rights leader.

This contribution is one of several ways Gauff has given back to her community in recent years.

From designing sneakers inspired by her childhood to funding educational initiatives during Black History Month, the World No. 3 has consistently found ways to empower the next generation.

“I want to give back and give players, young kids, the opportunity to pursue whatever sport they want,” she said in a recent interview.

The donation news comes on the heels of another major move for Gauff: the launch of her own management firm, Coco Gauff Enterprises.

Having recently parted ways with her longtime agency, she is now charting a new path, with support from WME Sports.

“I’m excited to build something that allows me to take greater ownership of my career while creating opportunities beyond myself,” she shared on social media.

Her message is clear, whether on a cereal box or center court, she’s committed to leading the next generation with purpose.
