The Dallas Cowboys (2-3-1) host the Washington Commanders (3-3) on Sunday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, in a key matchup for both teams as they try to stay in the NFC East race. The game is scheduled for 4:25 p.m. ET and can be seen live on FOX, as well as online streaming via Fubo.

A divisional showdown

The Cowboys come into the game after a tough loss to the Carolina Panthers (30-27), in a game where quarterback Dak Prescott had a solid performance by completing 25 of 34 passes for 261 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions. However, the ground attack was again lacking, with just 29 yards on 13 carries from Javonte Williams

The good news for Dallas is the growing connection between Prescott and his new offensive star, George Pickens, who was the team’s best in Week 6 with nine receptions, 168 yards and a touchdown. Pickens will be key to breaking down Washington’s deep defense, which has shown inconsistencies in coverage in recent weeks.

Commanders trust Jayden Daniels

On the other hand, the Washington Commanders are coming off a narrow 25-24 loss to the Chicago Bears, despite another standout performance from rookie Jayden Daniels. The young quarterback completed 19 of 26 passes (73.1%) for 211 yards, three touchdowns and an interception, plus 52 rushing yards.

In the ground game, Jacory Croskey-Merritt contributed 61 yards on 17 carries, while Chris Moore was the most productive through the air with three receptions for 46 yards and a touchdown. Washington needs to improve its defensive consistency if it is to prevent Pickens and Prescott from repeating the chemistry they showed against Carolina.
