“First day back,” Keeta Hill captioned a recent Instagram video, just one week after filing for divorce from Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill. This isn’t the first time the couple has made headlines over relationship drama. Previously, rumors circulated that Tyreek had filed for divorce, though he denied it at the time, calling it a misunderstanding.
This time, it was Keeta who made the move-she officially filed for divorce on April 9, marking the second attempt to end their marriage.
Tensions escalated the day before, on April 8, when police were called to the couple’s condo in Sunny Isles Beach. Keeta’s mother, Alesia Vaccaro, called authorities around 2 p.m. reporting an “assault in progress.” She described Tyreek Hill as “very aggressive and impulsive.” According to her statement, Hill threw a laptop to the ground, grabbed their daughter Capri, and headed toward the balcony during a heated argument.
The next day, Keeta filed for divorce. Although both parties insisted that things never turned physical-and police confirmed that Capri was unharmed-the emotional damage had already been done.
Entrepreneurship, Motherhood, and Resilience
This week, Keeta showed the world what bouncing back looks like. She posted a vlog on Instagram titled “A Day in the Life,” where she appeared cuddling with baby Capri and navigating her new normal as a single mother and tech startup founder.
“Hey guys, so this is a day in my life balancing motherhood and building my tech company,” she shared, appearing surprisingly composed for someone juggling single parenthood and entrepreneurship. The video showed her typical morning chaos-feeding Capri, then jumping straight into Zoom calls with her development team.
“Once she’s fed, the day officially begins. I get ready for my Zoom calls and meet with my project development team to go over new features we’re implementing,” she explained, highlighting her commitment to creating a better future for herself and her daughter.
