Tyreek Hill’s divorce is turning into more than just a private dispute – it’s become a full-on legal brawl playing out in public view. And now, things are getting even messier.

The Miami Dolphins wide receiver is asking a Florida judge to impose a gag order on his estranged wife, Keeta Vaccaro, as their split continues to spiral. Hill’s legal team wants to stop Vaccaro’s lawyers from making what they call “disparaging” remarks in court documents – this, just weeks after Hill accused her of stealing money and accessing his financial accounts without permission.

Vaccaro’s response? Not having it. Her lawyers fired back in a scathing June 25 filing, calling Hill’s request a “clear attempt to silence and intimidate,” adding that he seems to want special treatment “because he is famous.”

The Courtroom Clash Behind the Headlines

Vaccaro’s team says Hill can publicly accuse her of fraud, then ask the court to stop her from defending herself – and that’s the real issue.

The feud has escalated quickly since April, when Vaccaro filed for divorce just a day after police were called to the couple’s luxury condo over a reported domestic disturbance. No arrests were made, but the incident set the tone for what’s become a tense, high-profile legal fight.

Since then, nearly 80 filings have hit the court docket. Vaccaro claims Hill has shown little interest in their seven-month-old daughter, Capri, and accuses him of using custody disputes to manipulate the situation – a pattern she alleges goes beyond just her. Her lawyers even referenced Hill’s “lack of involvement” with at least 10 other children, including three reportedly born in 2023.

Hill’s attorneys say those claims are unfair and part of a broader “false narrative.” In a June 23 filing, they argued that such statements could hurt Hill’s reputation as a public figure and athlete, especially with headlines like “Tyreek Hill Accuses Ex Keeta of Stealing From Him” (via DailyMail.com) spreading widely online.

Still, Vaccaro’s legal team is standing its ground, pointing out that Hill’s accusations against her came before he tried to limit her ability to speak. “If he wants to throw punches in court filings,” her lawyers argued, “he shouldn’t get to cry foul when she punches back.”

A ruling on the gag order has yet to be issued by Judge Spencer Multack.

Meanwhile, the off-field drama is just another chapter in Hill’s history of controversy. He was kicked off Oklahoma State’s football team in 2014 following a domestic assault case and faced a child abuse investigation in 2019 while playing for the Kansas City Chiefs. Most recently, he’s dealing with a civil lawsuit from influencer Sophie Hall, who says Hill broke her leg during a scrimmage at his home.

For now, Hill’s divorce from Vaccaro – just months after they tied the knot in November 2023 – shows no signs of calming down. And with every new court filing, the private cracks in their relationship are becoming very public.
