Following a bit of a drawn-out decision to return for another NFL season last spring, Travis Kelce endured his toughest season as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs in 2025. For someone so accustomed to winning, losing 11 games wasn’t on the radar.

This time around, Kelce has it clear in his head early on that he wants to keep playing football. Before he does, though, he’s been taking time to hit the links for another sport he excels at: golf. Kelce has been participating in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am this week.

The tournament, which is played at Pebble Beach in California, features celebrities and athletes from other sports playing side-by-side with professional golfers. Kelce has been matched with Keith Mitchell for this tournament. The 34-year-old has had an inconsistent career so far, but he’s currently 41st in the FedEx Cup standings. By the sound of it, he could use some pointers from Kelce.

Keith Mitchell claims Travis Kelce hits golf balls “way farther than I do”

That’s not a slight towards the golfer in any way. In fact, Mitchell himself admitted that Kelce can hit a golf ball even farther than he can, in a candid interview on the golf course during one of their rounds.

Mitchell claims that playing alongside Kelce has been “humbling” due to his driving power. Kelce then called his teammate, “Cashmere Keith“, saying that he wants to replicate Mitchell’s “swagger” on the course.

This was Kelce’s second appearance at a Pro-Am tournament in the span of a week. He previously took part in the WM Phoenix Pro-Am, where he nearly sunk a hole-in-one on the famous 16th hole at TPC Scottsdale.
