Earlier this month, the NFL posted a collection of 13 photos documenting Tom Brady‘s transformation over his 20-plus-year career.
The images reignited online chatter about how the former quarterback appears to be defying time, prompting RadarOnline.com to seek a professional opinion.
Dr. Smita Ramanadham, a board-certified plastic surgeon, analyzed the photos and offered her thoughts: subtle tweaks may be helping Brady maintain his clean, youthful appearance.
“With Brady, he is very much an example of plastic surgery done right,” Ramanadham explained. “You want surgery where you can’t quite tell what it is you got, and that is the case here.”
While emphasizing that there’s no way to confirm cosmetic work without a personal consultation, the surgeon noted something about Brady‘s facial consistency over the decades feels “suspicious”-especially given how most people’s faces naturally evolve with age.
“I don’t see those changes with Brady that I see with everyone else, even myself,” she added. “That makes me suspicious.”
According to Ramanadham, if Brady has had anything done, it’s likely limited to minimally invasive procedures, what the industry often refers to as “tweakments.”
These could include Botox to smooth out fine lines, dermal fillers for volume, or even a conservative surgical touch-up like an upper blepharoplasty to remove sagging eyelid skin.
“He doesn’t look like he has the super awake eyes that can result from the procedure,” Ramanadham said of the potential eyelid surgery.
“But there is no way he would have looked this way now, with virtually no change in the skin, without something being done.”
A closer inspection of Brady’s nose
Brady‘s nose has also drawn attention. The tip appears more refined in recent photos compared to earlier ones, which Ramanadham speculates could be the result of a subtle rhinoplasty.
It’s worth noting that the quarterback injured his nose during a 2012 game, but he never publicly confirmed whether it was broken or surgically repaired. His jawline has raised eyebrows, too.
“The tightness and definition in his jaw are unusual for a man approaching 50,” Ramanadham remarked. While weight loss could account for some of that, she also suggested Botox or dermal fillers may have contributed.
Still, not everything comes down to cosmetic help. Brady‘s famously disciplined lifestyle is also a major factor in how he looks.
Since stepping away from the game, he has dropped 10 pounds and continues to follow his well-known TB12 wellness routine, which eliminates dairy, white flour, refined sugar, caffeine, and other inflammation-causing foods.
