Indiana Fever‘s 94-65 win over Washington Mystics was a breath of fresh air for Stephanie White and her team, as they also qualified to the WNBA Playoffs.

This achievement was celebrated by fans, but it was also cause for celebration for the players themselves, and of course the Fever’s famous ”Tres Leches” trio was no exception.

Hull, Cunningham and Clark celebrate on Instagram

Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham miss the rest of the season with groin and ACL injuries respectively. Meanwhile, Lexie Hull is the only one of the three who continues to shine on the courts.

Unfortunately, they are not the only two players that Fever has had to report as out for the rest of the year: Aari McDonald, Sydney Colson and Chloe Bibby complete the list.

Meanwhile, with multiple injuries plaguing the team, that they have qualified for the Playoffs is cause for celebration and a great reminder of their resilience, flexibility and togetherness.

This great Fever accomplishment was shared after the win against Mystics on the team’s official Instagram account: “PLAYOFF BOUND. We’ve officially clinched our spot in the 2025 WNBA Playoffs!” announced Indiana.

This post was shared on the Instagram stories of the three players although they didn’t write anything next to the picture, as it was all said and done. Lexie was the only one who added a red heart emoji next to the post. She also scored 7 points and dished out two assists during the game.

The post also did not go unnoticed by Fever fans who left their support in the comments section:

17 amazing players have contributed to this!” highlighted one of them. “This pic takes the cake! Everyone who brought it here to this moment!” stated another follower. “After all the injuries and adversity this team has faced well done on making the playoffs. Congratulations. Well deserved” commented a third fan.

Even the Indiana Pacers NBA account commented on the post with two fire emojis.

Meanwhile, the Fever still have the Tuesday 9th game against Minnesota Lynx at home, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Then, depending on the outcome, they could face either the Las Vegas Aces or Atlanta Dream in the Playoffs, which are scheduled for September 14.
