During a recent episode of New Heights, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson joined brothers Travis and Jason Kelce for a lively and heartfelt conversation as he joked he’s sending “voodoo” energy to help Taylor Swift start a family.
While discussing marriage and fatherhood, Johnson humorously made the quip to Travis, after the Kansas City Chiefs star got engaged to the Grammy-winning artist in August this year.
“You’ll get there, Trav, soon,” Johnson said. “You’ll see the blessings … My babies, just like you Jason – and one day you’ll know, Trav – babies are everything…
“We’re putting that voodoo onto you and Taylor right now.”
The playful remark prompted laughter from Kelce, who replied by calling it “that blessing voodoo,” embracing the lighthearted tone.
Although the word “voodoo” can carry negative connotations, Johnson used it warmly, as a symbol of hope and good fortune for the 36-year-old tight end and his 35-year-old partner, who are likely to wed in 2026.
Either way, the moment showcased the authentic and humorous atmosphere that has made New Heights a popular show among fans. For many, the exchange represented a supportive gesture from one father to another soon-to-be.
Kelce and Swift‘s relationship, which began publicly in 2023, has evolved into one of pop culture’s most watched romances. From attending each other’s professional events to their 2025 engagement, they have continued to maintain a grounded and genuine connection despite the spotlight.
Charli XCX dodges question about perceived Taylor Swift jab
Charli XCX has remained silent amid speculation that Taylor Swift‘s new song “Actually Romantic” targets her.
Following the release of Swift‘s twelfth studio album The Life of a Showgirl, fans have debated whether the lyrics contain pointed references to the British pop star.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, published Tuesday, Charli-whose real name is Charlotte Aitchison-was asked about the rumors. However, she chose not to address them directly.
“She declined to comment on the situation,” the interviewer wrote, leaving the speculation unresolved.
In “Actually Romantic,” Swift appears to call out an unnamed celebrity, singing,
“I heard you call me ‘Boring Barbie’ when the coke’s got you brave / High-fived my ex and then you said you’re glad he ghosted me.”
The lyrics sparked widespread discussion among listeners attempting to identify the song’s subject, and theories emerged after fans noted that Charli has previously mentioned drug use in her music.
Her 2024 album Brat features a track titled “Everything Is Romantic.” Still, neither artist has confirmed any link between the songs.
Swift recently described “Actually Romantic” instead as “a love letter to someone who hates you,” leaving its true inspiration open to interpretation.
It’s unlikely both Swift or Charli XCX will be on tour in 2026 as both have recently concluded their own trips around the globe. Charli could potentially work on a new album whilst Swift will no doubt be trying to make big strides in her wedding planning.
