Paulo Futre, Atletico Madrid legend, told Josep Pedrerol on ‘El Cafelito’ that “Lamine Yamal will be the best in the world… but he will have to have a girlfriend quickly”.

“Lamine Yamal is young (18 years old), and it is important that he has a girlfriend,” insisted the former footballer.

To contextualize his answers, Paolo Futre said that “when I met the mother of my children I started to be a professional footballer 100%”.
“Did your ex-wife help you to focus?” asked Pedrerol.
“Without a doubt… I didn’t go out as much as I used to. From then on I started to have weight in the Porto dressing room, because I was more responsible,” Futre recalled.

The Portuguese recalled the tense Madrid derby in 1988 in which Paco Buyo collided with him and then assaulted Orejuela… who ended up being sent off.
“The game didn’t matter to me. Paco woke me up… rage,” said the former Atletico footballer about the Real Madrid goalkeeper.
