It’s now been a week since one of the most highly anticipated fights in recent boxing history. Taking place in Las Vegas, Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford battled for super middleweight supremacy. “Bud” ended up coming out on top, putting together a performance that has become commonplace in his career.

In the aftermath of the result, Crawford’s legacy has been completely cemented. Meanwhile, Canelo’s has been questioned a bit. Despite his three losses coming against the best of the best in Crawford, Dmitry Bivol and Floyd Mayweather Jr., some boxing fans can’t help but wonder if Alvarez is truly the legendary figure his persona suggests. McIntyre isn’t fixated on potential opponents for Canelo because whatever he decides to do, will be the right decision one way or another. Alvarez has accomplished everything he set out to in his boxing career. From now on, it’s all just frosting on the cake.
