Teoscar Hernandez was born on October 15, 1992, in the Dominican Republic. He currently plays for the Los Angeles Dodgers and, as of Friday, October 24, is competing in the Fall Classic with the Los Angeles team against the Toronto Blue Jays, who overpowered them 11-4.

On November 16, 2022, he was traded from Toronto to the Seattle Mariners. In 2023, he earned a $14 million salary, though he had hoped for $16.5 million. After that season, Hernandez became a free agent and left Seattle.

On January 12, 2024, he signed a $24 million deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers. The change of scenery worked wonders, he was selected for the All-Star Game that same year and went on to win the Home Run Derby.
