Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s love story continues, with the global music superstar enjoying some time off after touring all over the world to spend some time with her boyfriend.

The Kansas City Chiefs superstar tight end announced in late February that he’s coming back for his 13th season in the NFL, having already accomplished an amazing career that will put him in the Hall of Fame.

“I love football. I don’t think I really thought about it that much,” Kelce told reporters after Wednesday’s minicamp practice. “… I love coming in to work every single day. It wasn’t a very tough one for me. I know I’m getting older, but at the same time I still feel like I’ve got a lot I can prove in this league. With that being said, it really wasn’t that hard of a decision for me.”

Taylor Swift gesture towards Travis Kelce shock fans

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were reunited in New York on Friday night as the lovers were recorded leaving the Italian restaurant Torrisi by a shocked fan, who posted the images on X. Social media users noticed that the Chiefs player was wearing the same clothes he had traveled in.

Swift wore a light blue strappy top with a pleated mini skirt and white pointy stilettos which matched her mini shoulder bag. As soon as they walked out of the restaurant, flashing lights from cameras flooded the scene. Taylor stopped for a second to tell something to Travis, while Kelce – who looked extremely tired – extended his hand and they both hold hands.

Fans speculated over what was the brief conversation between Taylor and Travis, with one X user having an interesting take on it. “This isn’t complicated folks. Taylor – “wow, these shoes hurt my toes.” Travis – “I told you not to wear them.” Just enjoy the content, sheesh!” posted the user.

Travis Kelce wants to retire on top

Travis Kelce didn’t want to retire after the Kansas City Chiefs were blown out by the Philadephia Eagles in Super Box LIX 40-22, one of the worst games in quarterback Patrick Mahomes‘ career, and a bad performance overall by the iconic tight end.

Kelce explained on his “New Heights” podcast three months ago that leaving the game of football like that wasn’t an ideal conclusion and if the Chiefs accomplished the first-ever Lombardi three-peat he “would have thought about [retirement] more.”

Seemingly haunted by his own Super Bowl performance to this day — a four-catch, 39-yard effort — Travis said he “felt like I failed my guys” this past February when reflecting on it more Wednesday and that he “really didn’t feel like it was my last game.” Kelce also said that winning a title is the only acceptable result this year.
