Taylor Swift is envisioning the ideal wedding for her union with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. However, not everything is unfolding according to her initial plan.
The venue for the date she wanted is already booked by another couple, and according to the location’s policies, that reservation cannot be altered under any circumstances.
The couple of the moment, one of the music industry’s global superstars and one of the NFL’s biggest names, reportedly wishes to marry on June 13 at Ocean House in Westerly, Rhode Island. But unfortunately for the two, that date has long belonged to another set of soon-to-be newlyweds.
According to the report that revealed this information, Taylor allegedly offered a sum to the couple in order for them to give up the date she desired. Yet for the establishment, things do not work that way, and the venue maintains strict rules regarding confirmed reservations.
Referring to information obtained by TMZ, Stephanie Leavitt, Area Director of Sales & Marketing for Ocean House, explained that such a situation is not allowed in any capacity.
When clients and their families choose Ocean House as their wedding venue, it is an agreement and commitment between our team and that family. Ocean House would not and is not allowing another party or entity to buy a wedding group out of a contracted wedding date.
Leavitt told TMZ.
This means that even if millions were offered to the couple holding that date, there is absolutely no possibility for Swift and Kelce to secure the venue for their preferred day. In the same interview, the director of sales and marketing also stated that the identity of the couple booked for that specific date cannot be disclosed.
We appreciate the interest in our brides and grooms yet allow them to confirm their wedding location with who they choose.
It is also clarified that Taylor Swift and her fiancé, Travis Kelce, did not offer any compensation to the couple who already have the date secured for their ceremony. For now, no additional details about the wedding have been revealed, something fans of the singer eagerly await as speculation continues to grow.
The season continues for Travis Kelce
The Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end remains fully immersed in the NFL season, facing significant challenges alongside a team currently fighting for a postseason spot.
They hold a 6-6 record, placing them at serious risk of missing the playoffs if they fail to win all remaining games. The margin for error has vanished entirely, and Kansas City can no longer afford a single loss.
