Maxx Crosby is the hottest commodity in the NFL right now. Amid rumors about his departure from the Las Vegas Raiders, fans and media have linked him to almost every team looking for an elite defensive end. The latest candidates? None other than the Super Bowl LX contenders.
The tension between Crosby and the Raiders’ front office is well-documented. The star pass rusher grew frustrated after being sidelined late in the season due to injury.
While neither Crosby nor the team has confirmed a split, insiders suggest that if a strong offer arrives, owner Mark Davis and team executive Tom Brady may consider moving him.
Several franchises have been linked to Crosby, including the Lions, Cowboys, and Bears. But two destinations stand out as particularly compelling: Seattle and New England.
Crosby at a crossroads: Seahawks, Patriots, or Raiders
According to Sports Illustrated insider Albert Breer, both the Seahawks and Patriots are seriously evaluating Crosby as a potential addition.
“I think over a quarter of the league has already considered the possibility of, ‘Could we make a trade for Maxx Crosby?'” Breer noted in The Breer Report.
He added:
I do think there are teams out there, including the two that were in the Super Bowl, that would have an interest in looking at bringing in Maxx Crosby.
Seattle, in particular, with general manager John Schneider, “If you go back to the Legion of Boom era, when they were in that championship window, they were very aggressive about acquiring veterans.”
Could Crosby be traded to Seattle?
Breer recalled that after winning Super Bowl XLVIII, Schneider wasted no time in signing veterans like:

- Michael Bennett, DL
“They continued to try to enhance the team they had while they were in that window,” Breer explained. “It would be no surprise to see John Schneider make a move.”
