The basketball shoe industry was thrown for a loop this week, when it was announced that Stephen Curry and Under Armour were parting ways after over a decade collaborating together. The move was motivated by the Golden State Warriors player wanting to make his Curry Brand independent. He is now, technically, a sneaker free agent.

It was a bit of a shock when Curry joined Under Armour back in 2013. Curry was originally signed to Nike, before he truly entered superstardom.
