The controversy surrounding the media sensation Shedeur Sanders continues. It’s no secret that the ex-quarterback of the Colorado Buffaloes has dropped significantly in the Draft. Cam Ward has surpassed him and will be the first pick to become a new player for the Tennessee Titans.

In recent days, it has been reported that Shedeur could fall as low as the 21st position to be selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers, or possibly even earlier at the 9th spot by the New Orleans Saints. The truth is that everything around Deion Sanders’ son remains uncertain.

Last week, the Sanders family publicly stated they would be happy with whichever team chooses Sanders, but internally, the story may be different.

Sanders doesn’t want to be picked by the Titans, Browns, or Giants

Louis Riddick from ESPN, according to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com, revealed this Wednesday that he believes Sanders does not want to be selected by the first three teams that will pick in the Draft. This could be true, as there is a friendship between Riddick and Deion Sanders.

“I hope he doesn’t get picked by the first three selections,” Riddick said about Shedeur on First Take. “I hope not. And I think his camp would tell you the same. There are other teams they want him to go to.”

“In some respects, there are other teams I hope he goes to, which I think would be good for him. I feel that way. I think if he goes to a place like New Orleans, or a place like Pittsburgh or Las Vegas, I think those would be really good for him,” Riddick commented.

Raiders, Saints, and Steelers: The reality for Shedeur Sanders

Cam Ward to the Titans, Travis Hunter to the Browns, and Abdul Carter to the Giants are predicted to be the first three picks, according to betting houses. Sanders’ window for selection could open as early as the 6th position with the Raiders, the 9th with the Saints, or as late as the 21st with the Steelers.

The future remains uncertain, but this Draft, Sanders will have everyone watching closely to see what happens on Thursday, April 24th, in the first round.
