Serena Williams’ husband, Alexis Ohanian, has offered another heartwarming look into family life, highlighting the special activities he shares with his daughters, Olympia and Adira as they enjoy the kitchen.
The weekends at the Williams-Ohanian household are often devoted to creative and hands-on pursuits, with cooking and baking frequently at the center of their bonding in the house of foodies.
On Saturday, August 9 that proved to be no difference as the Reddit founder posted a photograph of fresh fettuccine being guided through a pasta machine, with Olympia’s hands collecting the strands.
“Every now and then we make homemade pasta together,” Ohanian wrote before later that day, he shared another snapshot, two perfectly sliced, ripe mango halves from a farm, adding the caption, “Mango harvest from the farm LFG.”
A new daily routine for Serena and Alexis
These moments are part of a growing tradition the 42-year-old has with his children, where food preparation becomes a way to teach skills, foster creativity, and strengthen family connections.
Culinary projects extend beyond pasta-making as pancakes are a regular feature of their weekend routine, and Olympia has developed her own signature style of the traditional American breakfast.
“Look at @olympiaohanian working that griddle,” Ohanian said. “These #PapaPancakes are gonna be her speciality soon.
“She made a sunset and a bunch of little ‘macaroons’ with the small ones by putting some nutella in of them like a sandwich.”
Adira, the youngest, is also beginning to join these sessions too, indicating that both daughters are growing into these rituals as they continue to bond whilst growing up.
Beyond daily life at home, Ohanian marks meaningful moments for his daughters with memorable experiences. Recently, he celebrated Olympia’s final days as a six-year-old with a trip to New York City, underscoring his focus on creating lasting memories.
Could Serena return to the tennis scene with Venus Williams?
Speculation about a Serena and Venus Williams doubles reunion at the US Open has stirred excitement among tennis fans, despite no official confirmation from the sisters.
That’s because Serena’s former coach, Rick Macci, has fueled the buzz, suggesting the legendary pair would be a force if they competed together again in New York.
Serena, who retired in 2022, has been spotted hitting on court as recently as July, sparking hopes of a comeback, meanwhile Venus has returned to the WTA Tour with wildcards into Washington and Cincinnati, signaling her readiness for competition.
Together, the sisters boast six US Open singles titles and two doubles crowns, making them one of the most successful duos in tennis history.
While Macci admits his comments are purely as a fan without inside knowledge, he remains confident that if the reunion happened, it would be a momentous and potentially triumphant chapter in their storied careers.
