In the main event of Night 1 of WrestleMania 41, Paul Heyman backed Seth Rollins over Roman Reigns and CM Punk.
In an exciting match at Wrestlemania 41, Paul Heyman, with a chair in his hand, wavered between supporting CM Punk or Roman Reigns.
He chose to give it to Punk, but surprised him with a sneak attack and handed the weapon to Reigns, who punished Punk mercilessly.
When it appeared that Seth Rollins would face the same fate, Heyman encouraged him to finish him off, only to fool him with another sneak attack and hand the chair to Rollins. The unexpected turn of events left the crowd of over 60,000 at Allegiant Stadium speechless.
Paul Heyman attacks Shannon Sharpe on ESPN live
The “Wise Man” was invited to Pat McAfee’s show to set the record straight, but he made a comment that left all the guests shocked and embarrassed. True to his uncensored style, he made a reference that I am sure ESPN did not like at all.
The creator of ECW was explaining why he decided to betray CM Punk in the main event of night 1 of the big event and made a comment that no one saw coming.
“CM Punk does as much good for my reputation as Shannon Sharpe does for ESPN,” Heyman said.
Everyone was shocked to hear his answer and the fans in attendance went “Ohhh” in unison. Paul responded emphatically, showing that he was not sorry for the comment.
“Don’t say ‘ohhh.’ I’m not the one being sued.”
Shanon Sharpe breaks his silence on his Instagram account
On Sunday, former NFL tight end Shannon Sharpe was sued by a Jane Doe. The woman reported that her partner sexually assaulted her several times after they began dating in 2023.
According to her account, after she tried to end the relationship due to infidelity, he forced her to have sexual encounters in October 2024 and again in January 2025.
Sharpe’s legal team, through a statement from his attorney Lanny J. Davis, called the lawsuit a blatant and cynical attempt to extort millions of dollars from Sharpe.
Shannon‘s social media accounts shared alleged text messages sent between the two. ESPN has yet to comment on the matter, but the NFL Hall of Fame has. We will see if the network takes action, as they were shocked by Heyman‘s mention of the case during the live broadcast with Pat McAfee.
