Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is still enjoying some much-needed family time during the NFL offseason, and he has been playing catch with one of his daughters.
The 29-year-old posted a lovely photo of his and Brittany Mahomes‘ oldest daughter, four-year-old Sterling, to his Instagram story on Thursday.
She had been fishing with her dad and she was photographed holding a fish that was half the size of her.
She was smiling for the picture and Patrick accompanied the image with two heart emojis.
Brittany then reposted the photo and put the caption: “I can’t even handle this.”
Brittany had the internet collectively swooning this week after dropping a series of wholesome, joy-filled photos from the Mahomes family vacation.
And while fans flooded the comments with heart emojis and praise, it was Patrick who delivered the sweetest reactions of all.
Fans enjoy Patrick and Brittany’s relationship
On Tuesday, Brittany posted an Instagram carousel capturing some unforgettable memories from their recent getaway, writing, “The best trip with our besties.”
Of course, fans couldn’t get enough of the Mahomes kids – especially their stylish second-born, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon III.
“Bronze rockin’ the shades,” a follower said.
Another added: “Bronze & his beach babes.”
The NFL superstar shared one of Brittany‘s photos on his Instagram Stories, featuring her and their eldest daughter, Sterling Skye, enjoying a moment together on a kayak. Along with the repost, he added two red heart emojis – a subtle but tender nod to the two most important women in his life.
In Texas, almost a dozen of Mahomes‘ teammates gathered nine days ago for a big throwing session before the official training camp begins. There were plenty of new faces there too, meaning it was a great bonding experience for them before the hard work really begins.
The Chiefs players were captured by photographer Heather Smith and she shared a gallery that featured Mahomes, Nikko Remigio, Skyy Moore, Xavier Worthy, Isiah Pacheco, Noah Gray, Chris Oladokun, and Bailey Zappe.
