The 2025 WNBA season is nearing quickly, with the first games getting underway on Friday night. Two games will tip off at the same time to kick off the season: Dallas Wings vs. Minnesota Lynx and Atlanta Dream vs. Washington Mystics. Before the question about the Lynx, Bueckers was shown a picture of her younger self. While Bueckers admits she never envisioned herself being the first overall pick in a WNBA draft, she concedes that she’s always had “really big dreams and aspirations” and that she “worked extremely hard for it“.
Bueckers’ personality has already enamored fans, even ones who don’t follow UConn or the Wings. She has everything that’s needed to be a star in the league.
