Olivia Dunne has openly shared that the distance is one of the toughest hurdles in her relationship with Paul Skenes. Since he left LSU to shine as the star of the Pittsburgh Pirates, Olivia has felt a little more alone back in Louisiana.
While Livvy is never short of company, always surrounded by her friends and teammates at the gym, she recently introduced a new partner on the gymnastics mat. The connection between them is undeniable, and it’s clear this new companion has become more of a constant presence in Olivia’s day-to-day life.
Olivia’s unexpected partner wins hearts at the gym
Although this bond has been growing for quite a while, seeing Olivia in her gym sanctuary with her new partner was a rare and unexpected sight. She looked genuinely happy, performing her incredible stunts with someone who watches her with love in his eyes. It’s hard not to imagine that Paul might feel a bit of jealousy over the time they spend together. But then again, it’s likely Paul also enjoys that same company when he’s back at his alma mater, living his own moments of joy.
Olivia insists that the real star of the gym is Roux, her golden retriever, who sweetly joined her for that day’s training session. It’s almost impossible to think of anything dogs can’t do better-they’re literally angels on Earth, and for Livvy, Roux is undoubtedly one of them.
Olivia and Paul always find a way
Paul Skenes is just weeks away from returning to the MLB grind, but the couple still managed to carve out time together, even spending Valentine’s Day during baseball’s off-season. So, it’s safe to say that despite the distance and their jam-packed schedules, they always find a way to make time for each other.
Looking ahead, it seems like once Olivia wraps up her final season with the LSU Tigers, she’ll be making Pittsburgh her new home alongside Paul and of course, Roux. While Livvy hasn’t yet revealed what’s next for her professionally, fans are eagerly waiting to see what she has planned. It’s clear her future has a direction, but she might not be in any rush to reveal exactly what comes after life in the NCAA.
