Olivia Dunne may be best known for her success in gymnastics and her high-profile relationship with Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes, but over the weekend she found herself reacting to a very different kind of loyalty.

The LSU alum playfully weighed in after her older sister, Julz Dunne, showed unwavering support for the New York Giants during a difficult stretch for the franchise.

Julz was spotted in the stands at MetLife Stadium on Sunday as the Giants hosted the Washington Commanders.

The afternoon did not go the way New York fans hoped, with the team falling 29-21 and extending its losing streak to eight games.

Still, Julz remained committed, proudly representing the Giants from the stands despite the cold weather and the disappointing result.

Two days later, Julz shared a carousel of photos on Instagram documenting the game-day experience.

She appeared alongside her girlfriend, Hayden Sample, fully decked out in Giants gear, including a team cap, jacket and layered shirts.

Julz made her message clear in the caption, writing, “Had to show her how loyal I am, so I brought her to a Giants game.”

Family members were quick to jump into the comments. The sisters’ mother, Katherine Dunne, offered her own supportive response, writing: “You stay hot even in the cold.”

Olivia Dunne also chimed in, clearly impressed by her sister’s post and sense of humor. “Caption game is strong,” Olivia wrote.

A close bond beyond sports and social media

While the exchange was lighthearted, it also highlighted the close relationship between the Dunne sisters, who have often spoken about supporting each other away from the spotlight.

Both attended Louisiana State University, though Julz graduated a year earlier in 2023 with a degree in kinesiology. Olivia followed her own path at LSU, becoming one of the most recognizable figures in collegiate athletics through gymnastics and her presence in the name, image and likeness era.

Julz has previously addressed how important her relationship with Olivia is, especially given the attention her younger sister receives online.

Speaking on the Purple Podcast in February 2023, Julz explained how grounded their connection remains despite outside noise.

“That is my best friend, so, at the end of the day, that’s the relationship that really matters more than the ones from other people online that I don’t even know,” she said.

That sense of perspective has resonated with fans, particularly as Olivia balances athletics, endorsements and public interest in her personal life.

According to interviews Olivia has given to outlets such as Sports Illustrated and ESPN, family support has been central to how she manages pressure and expectations.

The Dunnes support strongly

Julz‘s Giants fandom adds another layer to the family dynamic, especially with Olivia often seen supporting LSU teams and, more recently, Paul Skenes during his rise in professional baseball.

Even as the Giants continue to struggle this season, Julz‘s dedication did not go unnoticed.

In the end, the moment was less about the final score and more about family, humor and loyalty.

Whether it is cheering from the stands or trading playful comments online, the Dunne sisters continue to show that their bond remains strong, regardless of wins, losses or public attention.
