Nikola Jokic scored 55 points (5 of 6 three-pointers), matching the highest scoring performance in the NBA this season, and grabbed 12 rebounds as the Denver Nuggets defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 130-116, who were missing several players, to record their sixth consecutive victory.

Jokic scored 25 of Denver’s 39 points in the first quarter. He scored eight in the second before returning with 19 in the third.

He rested most of the fourth quarter before scoring three points to complete his performance with 18 of 23 field goals.

The Serbian fell short of another triple-double as he dished out six assists.

In NBA history, only Jokic has achieved these numbers in the same season: a game of at least 50 points, a game of at least 30 points, 15 rebounds and 15 assists, scoring at least 25 points without missing any free throws.

The Nuggets star has done it in the last eight days.
