NBA player Marcus Morris Sr. was arrested in Florida (USA) on charges of fraud (he issued a check with insufficient funds).

The website of the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, whose main city is Fort Lauderdale, records Morris’ arrest data as well as his photograph after being taken into custody.

The 35-year-old twin brother of fellow NBA player Markieff Morris, Marcus Morris Sr. played 13 seasons in the league.

He was selected 14th overall in the 2011 draft by the Houston Rockets and later also played for the Phoenix Suns, Detroit Pistons, Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Clippers, New York Knicks, Cleveland Cavaliers and Philadelphia 76ers.

The Cavaliers and Sixers were his last teams in the 2023-24 season. In the 2024-25 season, he signed a two-week contract during preseason with the Knicks but was cut before the campaign began
