Jake Paul just got a harsh dose of reality from none other than Nate Diaz – and it might be exactly what the YouTuber-turned-boxer needed.

Fresh off a high-profile win over Jorge Masvidal, Diaz isn’t done with the Paul brothers just yet. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the former UFC star threw a brutal jab at both Jake and Logan, declaring: “i whoop these p*ssy” – a direct challenge that reignites tensions from their 2023 clash, where Jake won by unanimous decision in Diaz’s boxing debut.

While Jake has built his boxing résumé on aging opponents and spectacle-driven fights, his next move suggests he’s finally taking the sport seriously. Despite an 11-1 record with 7 KOs, Paul still gets flak for dodging elite competition – until now.

His next opponent? None other than former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in a 10-round bout at 200 pounds, co-promoted by Most Valuable Promotions and Golden Boy Promotions. It’s a major step up and a clear attempt to shut down the “fake boxer” accusations once and for all.

Jake is looking for more deserving opponents

Even bigger names have been on Jake’s radar. Earlier this year, he shocked fans by pursuing a fight with Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, one of boxing’s most feared pound-for-pound fighters.

According to Jake, a deal was nearly in place-until Canelo walked away and instead signed a blockbuster $150 million deal with Saudi advisor Turki Alalshikh for a four-fight run.

As if the drama wasn’t wild enough, Logan Paul recently teased a possible showdown with Jake – but only in MMA. On his IMPAULSIVE podcast, Logan shut down hopes for a boxing bout, saying he wouldn’t fight his younger brother unless it was inside the cage. Whether that’s a real threat or more Paul-brother hype remains to be seen.

Diaz is tired of the Pauls

Meanwhile, Diaz isn’t buying into the brothers’ theatrics. After years of build-up and spectacle, he’s making it clear he’s ready to take both Pauls down – gloves on or off.

With Jake eyeing real fighters, Logan wrestling in WWE, and Diaz throwing bombs on social media, fight fans may not have to wait long for another jaw-dropping showdown. The question is: can either Paul brother handle what Nate Diaz is ready to deliver?
