Major League Baseball has confirmed its 2025 postseason schedule, which will begin on Tuesday, September 30 with the four Wild Card Series matchups in both the American and National Leagues. The Wild Card Series will be played on September 30 and October 2, with each league having two series and these matchups will be head-to-head and will determine the four teams that will advance to the Division Series.

2025 Championship Series and World Series dates

The American and National League Championship Series are scheduled to begin on October 12 and 13, respectively. These best-of-seven series will have potential Game 7s on October 20 for the American League and October 21 for the National League.

Finally, the 2025 World Series will begin on October 24, with consecutive games until Game 4 on October 28. If a Game 7 is required, the schedule allows for rest days and extends it to November 1.
