The Dallas Mavericks defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 121-94 in the team’s final preseason game on Wednesday.
However, what stole the show was not only the Lakers’ lack of players but also a fan cheering on the Mavs: rapper and Klay Thompson‘s girlfriend, Megan Thee Stallion.

With just under a week to go before the start of the 2025-26 NBA season on October 21, the Dallas team secured its third preseason victory.
During the game, Anthony Davis shone, with 18 points and 9 rebounds in 32 minutes of action. In addition, rookie Cooper Flagg and P.J. Washington added 13 points in 28 minutes.
Klay Thompson didn’t shine, but he contributed 12 points, one assist, and one rebound to Wednesday’s victory, while being cheered on from the crowd by his partner. Of course, Thee Stailon‘s presence did not go unnoticed by anyone, and the NBA’s official Instagram account shared two photos of her watching the game: “@theestallion courtside in Las Vegas for preseason action! #NBACelebRow” reads the caption alongside the photos.
Fans were quick to respond: “Yasss my hot girl,” wrote one of them. “She looks beautiful,” said another. “Really pretty,” said a third. “Looking like wifey material… love them together!” said another user. “The Megan WAG era has begun,” said another follower.
The five-time All-Star and Megan hinted at their romance in July when the rapper shared a photo with her Instagram followers that showed Thompson in the background. They then appeared together in New York at the Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala and have shared photos and videos together on their social media accounts.
Meanwhile, the 30-year-old rapper is expected to continue accompanying the Dallas guard during this regular season, which begins on Wednesday, October 22, with an away game against the San Antonio Spurs. Will Megan be there?
