The stage is set for golf’s most iconic event as the 89th edition of the Masters Tournament gets underway at Augusta National Golf Club.

Each spring, the world’s best golfers gather in Georgia to compete not only for a major title, but for the storied green jacket-one of the most prestigious prizes in all of sports.

This year’s tournament promises to deliver another memorable chapter in Masters history.

With a 95-player field featuring a mix of seasoned champions, rising stars, and elite amateurs, the 2025 Masters is expected to be a compelling four-day showcase of skill and nerves under pressure.

Broadcast live across more than 200 countries, fans around the world will tune in to see who can master Augusta’s demanding layout and emerge victorious.

Among the early favorites is defending champion Scottie Scheffler, who is seeking his third green jacket despite a relatively quiet start to the season.

Rory McIlroy, meanwhile, enters with strong momentum after two early wins in 2025 and continues his quest to complete the career Grand Slam.

Other top contenders include 2023 champion Jon Rahm, Collin Morikawa, and Brooks Koepka.

Tiger Woods will be absent this year due to injury, but three-time champion Phil Mickelson is back and looking to make noise once again.

The tournament will be televised in the U.S. on ESPN and CBS, with ESPN carrying the first two rounds and CBS taking over on the weekend.

Golf Channel will also provide daily highlights and analysis throughout the event.
