Luke Weaver has arrived in Queens as one of the star reinforcements for the new season and he has done so carrying his Yankees past, literally. The new Mets pitcher showed up to the training session with a Yankees bag, a detail that of course did not leave the fans of his new team very happy.

Luke Weaver arrives at Spring Training with the wrong bag…

The moment quickly went viral on social media thanks to a video shared by SNY Mets, and the reaction of fans was immediate. Some took it with humor, while the more radical section of the fans took it as a lack of respect towards their new team.
