There was a major flashpoint on the sidelines of the Los Angeles Lakers vs New York Knicks match on Thursday night, with LeBron James having an altercation with pundit Stephen A. Smith.

The match took place at the Crypto.com Arena and it was a continuation of the war of words that the pair have been enduring over the past week.

LeBron has been calling out the media for ‘sh***ing’ on the game and the biggest stars in the league, whilst ESPN’s Smith hit back by saying: “That’s some B.S. I’m gonna call it like I see it, this is straight B.S. I don’t appreciate what he said.

“We know he talking about people like me. D— it I’m going to say it, I’m going to be cocky enough to say I’m one of the people he alluded to. That’s nonsense! I challenge anybody to show somebody who loves the NBA and supports the NBA more than me.”

Fans work out what LeBron said to Smith

Smith was also recently talking about the James family and now fans are trying to work out what LeBron said to Smith on the sidelines of the Crypto.com Arena on Thursday.

The most popular suggestion is that LeBron said ‘keep my son out of this s**t bro’, suggesting he is coming to Bronny‘s aid once again in the face of adversity.

Another fan said: “Keep my son outta this” ?? Trying to put on my best lip reader eyes”

One said: he definitely said “leave my son out of this shit, pressed his a**” whilst another added: “that’s not what i’m talking bout, keep my son out your mouth.”

In a longer tweet, one person said: “Seems like lebron said ‘leave my son outta this’ i assume the rest of the convo was about lebron telling him that he can say all he want about him but to leave his son out of the personal beef he has with lebron.”
