LeBron James is no stranger to film-or even animation. But the Los Angeles Lakers star reached a new milestone by appearing in an episode of Cartoonified! alongside his daughter Zhuri, where they faced off against Phineas and Ferb.

It’s hardly surprising that the Lakers’ forward has built an impressive résumé across film and television.

According to IMDb, “The King” has 77 credits in series and films, including:

  • House Party
  • Smallfoot
  • Teen Titans Go!
  • Survivor’s Remorse
  • Trainwreck

Of course, his most notable role remains his starring turn with Bugs Bunny in Space Jam: A New Legacy-at least for now.

Bron and Zhuri vs. Phineas and Ferb

In the latest episode of Disney’s short-form series, James and Zhuri accept one of the beloved cartoon duo’s famous challenges.

The task: a 300-point trick shot. But this isn’t just any shot-it’s a long-range basket. “It’s not gonna be a challenge for me, momma face,” James tells Zhuri.

Naturally, Phineas raises the stakes, revealing that the hoop is “thousands of feet up in the sky,” guarded by flying sharks.

With the help of staggered trampolines-and while Zhuri fends off the sharks-the Lakers star sinks the 300-point shot. But that only unlocks a bigger challenge.

Will Luka Doncic join the fun?

For 3,000 points, the next challenge is a super long-range shot, one that travels through the moon. “How about you boys cartoonify Luka Doncic?” James suggests just before the credits roll.

The Slovenian star is renowned for his deep shooting range, boasting a 34.5% three-point percentage this season and a 34.9% career average.

Doncic is also familiar with animation, having appeared in Bleacher Report’s Hero Ball. Whether he’ll accept the Phineas and Ferb challenge remains to be seen, but if he does, fans may wonder: Will there be space sharks this time?
