In addition, US authorities detailed that the former boxer allegedly entered the country with an expired tourist visa and subsequently applied for permanent residency through his marriage to a US citizen related to the family of Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman. USCIS classified him as a serious threat in December 2024, and since then his immigration status has been monitored by various agencies.
