The fight between Jack Catterall and Harlem Eubank has captured the attention of the boxing world for its potential impact on the super lightweight landscape. Both fighters come in with good records and are motivated to put themselves in line for a world title shot.

The event, which will take place at the AO Arena in Manchester, will be broadcast on DAZN and TalkSport, and will include an undercard full of interesting matchups that no boxing fan should miss. The fight is scheduled for Saturday, July 5, 2025 at 22:00 ET.

What fights stand out on the preliminary card?

Among the most striking fights is the return of Lerrone Richards, former WBA interim super middleweight champion, who will face Steed Woodall in a key contest to regain ground on the international circuit. Richards remains one of the most technically complete fighters in the UK, and is looking to prove that he still has a lot to offer.

Also noteworthy is the presence of Mark Chamberlain, unbeaten in the lightweight division, who will try to maintain his good form against a rival to be confirmed in the coming hours. Chamberlain has shown punching power and discipline, and promoters are confident that he will soon be ready for European title fights.

Another name that does not go unnoticed is Hopey Price, the young man from Leeds who continues to gain ground among the most consistent British prospects. His aggressive style and good distance management have made him a fan favorite.

The function will also include special coverage from DAZN, exclusive interviews and minute-by-minute coverage of each of the preliminary bouts, reinforcing the expectation surrounding this night of boxing.

The main clash between Catterall and Eubank is scheduled to begin around 10:00 PM local time, depending on the pace of the previous fights. The AO Arena in Manchester is expected to be packed, with tickets virtually sold out.

Let’s see a little more of these two gladiators who will go to the fists in prime time. Catterall is a warrior. He has only lost twice in his career and both were in world title fights. The first was in Tokyo against Josh Taylor in 2022 and the one he lost to Barboza in February this year.

As for Eubank, he has yet to lose in 21 fights, but he has also not faced someone of Catterall’s pedigree. Neither has been knocked out either, which speaks volumes about what will be seen in the ring.

Eubank’s promoter, Kalle Sauerland, believes all the pressure is on Catterall. He told the specialist press on the day of the press conference:

Harlem has a fantastic character and is a fighter, his behavior is very humble. He has progressed little by little, but this is the moment

The executive is aware of what his protege is up against and understands the credentials of the rival. “He has the pressure of the name,” Sauerland said when talking to Catterall

Catterall is a great fighter, a gentleman and an image of this sport, I think the pressure is on him, as far as his career is concerned. He almost made it; this is a matter of life and death for him
